Cycle 1 Kindergarten Montessori Community Routine.

At Inspire Early Learning Journey, each day in our Kindergarten Program is thoughtfully designed to prepare children for school and life beyond. Our Montessori-inspired environment fosters independence, curiosity, and confidence through purposeful learning experiences and guided exploration.

From morning welcomes and nutritious meals to focused work cycles, creative expression, rest, and outdoor play, every part of the day supports growth across all developmental areas. This overview gives families a glimpse into what a typical day looks like at Inspire — where meaningful experiences inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Cycle 1 Kindergarten Montessori Community Routine.

• Our Cycle 1 Montessori Kindergarten Program integrates the Montessori Early Years Curriculum with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and is a Government-Approved Kindergarten Program.

Routine Time	Time | Toddler Montessori Community
7:00am — 8:15am	Family Grouping (Mixed Age Group) – Breakfast is served until 8.15am.
8:15am — 9:15am	Montessori indoor, outdoor class preparation, collect fruit from kitchen (Welcoming Arrivals and wash hands).
9:15am — 9:30am	Morning Group Gathering (Acknowledgement to country and “Good Morning” song) Followed by mindfulness visualisation of the day.
9:30am — 11:30am	Montessori work cycle time. Progressive Morning Tea is served until 10.45am.
11:30am — 11:50am	Group time (Presentation), Lunch Table Preparation, sunscreen and wash hands.
11:50am — 12:30pm	Lunch Time - as a community.
12:30pm — 12:45pm	Lunch Clean Up, Wash Hands, Quiet Reading, and Activities.
12:45pm — 2:00pm	Outdoor Play and Exploration. (Special Activities may be conducted during these times; Gardening/Sustainability/Movement/Sport).
2:00pm — 2:20pm	Clean-up and Wash hands followed by meditation and relaxation.
2:00pm — 3:30pm	Afternoon Activities. Montessori Afternoon Work Cycle/Cultural Project. Work/Chinese Language Program. Progressive Afternoon Tea is served until 3.15pm.
3:30pm — 4:00pm	Group time. Music. (Handover art and craft, children pack their bags and Sunscreen).
4:15pm — 5:00pm	Outdoor Play& Activities followed by clean up time.
5:00pm — 6:00pm	Family Grouping – Mixed Age Group. Late Snack/Quiet Activities/Home Time.
